Worn & Weathered

Work Performed : UX, UI, Branding, eCommerce

Brand Overview

Worn and Weathered is a brand concept for an outdoors/hunting clothing and lifestyle company. This brand was created for a social influencer in the hunting and social conservation space. The brand was created to appeal to both men and women in the outdoor/hunting demographic, seen with bold lettering but also a slight italicization which was important to the owner (being a woman social influencer in a male dominated space).

This is the initial phase of their website development which is supposed to build brand awareness, show and share their social mission of public land conservation and sell products to fund future product lines. It utilizes a Mobile-First Design, due to the clients strong instagram presence and initial marketing plan to use her followers (150K + followers) to jumpstart the business we felt it was critical to make sure the UX was as sound and simple as possible via mobile devices. Once the brand is more recognizable we plan to implement a more robust eCommerce site and focus on product line development utilizing landing pages and conversion funnels.

Product Branding (Patches)

Seen below are some product designs that will be implemented as patchwork for various products (mainly hats). All are for the outdoor space and specifically for the upcoming fall deer and elk season. The first, is to be their marquee and initial go to market design. The second is a concept that utilizes the lettermark version of the logo to create a “mount” of different animals for future use. The last, is a retro simplistic “hunting club” patch.

Project

Seen below are the product screen shots on both mobile and desktop. We wanted to make sure the Customer UX is simple and easy as possible while maintaining dedicated areas to implement marketing initiatives.  To do this we implemented a easily identifiable drop down filter that is intuitive and easy to apply and use.
